Jay Williams in goal for Team USA U-17 during the Five Nations' Cup

Jay Williams Selected to Team USA U18. Will Compete in 2010 Ivan Hlinka Toruney in Czech Rep.
After practices at Kettler's Capital Iceplex, TEAM USA will travel to Czech Republic for the August 9 through 14th tournament. Jay led all goaltenders at the 2010 Boys' Select 17 Player Development Camp with a .964 save percentage and 1.20 goals-against average.
Jay has committed to play in the USHL with Waterloo next season and he has several D-I college offers. |

Michael Clemente Attends NHL Ottawa Senators' Development Camp
June 29 through July 5, local standout and Brown University goalie, Michael Clemente, attended a Development camp for the NHL's Ottawa Senators.
Clemente, an NHL free agent prospect, trains with The Goalie Academy at PHD each off-season as well as instructs at The Goalie Academy Summer Camps. Congrats and best of luck, Mike!

Clemente is the third goalie from The Goalie Academy to attend an NHL camp along with Kris Mayotte (2) and Anthony Feyock!

Dan Sullivan Commits to U Maine
Ranked as the #1 NAHL goalie by Goalies' World Magazine, Dan Sullivan accepted a four-year hockey scholarship to the University of Maine!
Sully has trained with The Goalie Academy since he was 8 or 9 years old!
Dan had an outstanding year with Texas Tornados and was ranked #1 out of 65 total goalies ranked in the NAHL.

Jay Williams Commits to U Miami of Ohio
Team USA U18 and Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL) goalie, Jay Williams has committed to a full 4-year hockey scholarship to the University of Miami-Ohio!
Jay had several NCAA D-I College Hockey Scholarship offers, but he chose Miami-Ohio, which has been his #1 choice for many years.
Congratulations Jay!

Jay Williams Commits to USHL Waterloo Black Hawks
Jay Williams was drafted by the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL 3rd overall and has made the team.
After two years at Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT, Jay will be moving onto the Tier 1 Junior A hockey league.
Best of Luck, Jay!

Garrett Forrest and Michael Lackey are All Stars and Ranked #1 and #2 in Goalie Stats at Selects Hockey World Invitational in Riga, Latvia
Out of 23 1997 birth year goalies from around the world, Garrett Forrrest and Michael Lackey lead all the goalies statistically. The goalies were also chosen to the North American All-Star team in the tourney that competed against the all-stars from Europe!
Both goalies have worked with The Goalie Academy for years!

Babson College Bound Dan Rivellini Wins NEPSAC with Choate School
The Choate School defeated Berkshire School in the 2010 NEPSAC Martin/Earl Bracket Finals on 3/7.
The Goalie Academy's Dan Rivellini, a key member of the Choate School's varsity team, defeated opponents in the quarter and semi finals to help the team advance on their way to the finals defeating Tabor and Phillips Andover

David Altman and Kris Carlson amde the 1997 team, Theo Sevransky made the U11 team, & Bruce Racine made the U16 National Team.
Max Teplitz made the Team Maryland PW major team, Dan Dolliver and Jake Mitchell made Bantam Major, Michael Lackey made Bantam Minor. |

THE GOALIE ACADEMY COACHING WITH DC AREA YOUTH HOCKEY PROGRAMS
The Goalie Academy will be working with many of the DC area hockey organizations to better their goalie training.
The Goalie Academy's staff will work with Reston Raiders, Richmond Royals, Hershey Jr Bears, NoVa Ice Dogs, and Frederick Freeze Jr Hockey programs.
In addition to the above programs, The Goalie Academy also combines with Wolfe Goaltending to coach Montgomery Blue Devils, Howard Huskies, Navy Youth Hockey, and Bowie Bruins.
In the spring, The Goalie Academy also works with the DC area's most elite players with Washington All-Stars.
